The watch finder has no opinions: it scores every watch in the catalogue on its figures and keeps the top three.
- Budget. It adds a lot if the indicative price band falls within your range, a little if it is up to 15% over, and subtracts if it is far off.
- Use. For water it favours dive watches; for dress, dress watches; for every day, sports, dress and field watches; for travel, field and pilot watches.
- Wrist. It compares the diameter and lug-to-lug with the size that usually suits your circumference.
- Tie-break. It adds a little for sapphire crystal, hacking seconds, 70 hours of reserve or more and 100 metres of water resistance or more.
