Do you test the watches?
No. Calibrario does not do hands-on tests or publish opinions. It collects the specifications each manufacturer publishes, puts them in the same format and compares them. If a figure has not been confirmed on the official website, the spec sheet says so.
Why is the exact price not shown?
Amazon only allows prices that come from its own API and are kept up to date. Until then, each spec sheet shows an indicative price band, and the exact price is on Amazon when you click the button.
How does Calibrario make money?
Through the Amazon EU Associates Programme. If you buy through a link on the site, Amazon pays Calibrario a commission. The price you pay is the same.
Sapphire or Hardlex?
Sapphire is much harder and barely scratches. Hardlex, Seiko’s hardened mineral glass, scratches sooner but copes better with sharp knocks and costs less to replace. For a watch you wear every day, sapphire is usually worth it.
